– 2020 –

Words can not describe how surprising this year has been for all of us. The anxiety, heartbreak, disbelief and overall shock of it all has strangely brought us altogether to agree on one thing: can it end ❤️

Although we still have a few months left of this wild ride, I thought I’d share a couple of the things that I am so grateful for that have kept me grounded this year. ✨

Familia

It would be weird for me to separate out my family (by blood) and my “friends” because to me, we are all one. I’ve seen each one of those closest to me individually go through grief, glory + growth all in one year! We have experienced firsthand some scary moments that ultimately comes with an ongoing pandemic, as well as the heartbreak of losing out on physical experiences that mean the most to all of us. What amazes me is how every single one of us are independent thinkers + faith believers. Iloveyouthisclose.

Faith

I would be telling a complete lie if I said my faith has not been tested throughout this entire year so far. And even in the good times where I have {and do} feel extremely blessed, I instantly find myself overcome with guilt because there are so many others who can’t say the same. But, then I remember, this is all part of the plan.

John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

If we had all of the answers on our own, why would we need faith? When I read verses like this, I instantly feel a sense of contentment to know that we are not supposed to have everything under control, he is. 🤍

Future

We have made it this far! Just thinking back on everything that has happened in the past 10 months – 🤯 – I can’t even wrap my mind around the history that has been made…but yet, here we are.

I really do believe that what you think about and talk about ~ you bring about, so let’s manifest the rest of this year & our future to be the best to come. 💖
