Born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana, I owe my mindset and determination for personal success to my parents. Young, but determined beyond the norm, they have always focused on the importance of instilling positive, motivational messages into my life to program my mind to always strive for self-success.
My passion for communication began during my sixth grade year at Dodson Street Elementary during a field trip to The CNN World News Center, the head quarters of Cable News Network (CNN) in Atlanta, Georgia. In the midst of my other classmates who were bored and awaiting our exit to the Coca-Cola factory, stood myself: In awe at the fast-pace, coffee overflow, stressed out reporters and of course, the green screen.
Years later, I found myself at LSU learning and working in nearly every aspect of media. On campus, I was an anchor and reporter for LSU’s Tiger T.V. news and entertainment department, editorial writer for the Odyssey, an active member of LSU’s Residential Hall Association, Phi Alpha Delta, the Honor Society Organization, and Sigma Chapter of the Delta Zeta Sorority, where I served as the social media chairwoman for the Miss LSU-USA Pageant, a preliminary to the Miss Louisiana USA, Miss USA and Miss Universe Organization Pageants. My love for the digital side of the media began here, as I helped to create the first ever #MyMissLSU social media campaign that reached over 100,000 people via social media platforms.
There is always more to learn in the world of digital branding, with this in mind, I believe in constant continuation of my education to provide each and every client with the latest knowledge and practices to keep their business ahead of the game.
