I was born into a family built on creativity and expression. This passion always inspired me to want to make an impact both on and off camera. These aspirations led me to build a career in the media industry that began with my first passion for TV,
[my first real desires were to be either a video DJ on TRL/106 & Park OR a meteorologist on The Weather Channel // there was no in between 🙂 ]
that led to my graduation from the Manship School of Mass Communication at LSU with a broadcast journalism concentration.
Towards the end of my college career, I interviewed for a digital marketing position here in Baton Rouge that ultimately changed my life.
I took on the position as an Online Presence Strategist for Torapath Technologies and boyyyy has it been a fun ride 🙂
Now, as the Senior Online Presence/Digital Marketing Strategist, I have over 5 years of experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies and tactics that enable companies to reach their full potential and I know that with the direction that traditional media has taken, God has placed me exactly where I am supposed to be!
My day-to-day responsibilities include working closely with each client to determine their needs, create scalable plans and then use conversion-driven processes to achieve their goals. Some of my primary skills and responsibilities include search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media management/marketing, content distribution/blogging, videography, graphic design, HTML, website design/wire-framing, content management systems, email marketing, analytics/reporting, ad campaign creation and implementation for clients across all industries. My passion for this industry thrives from seeing the remarkable growth and prosperity that a well-rounded and planned out online presence can have on a company.
I embrace my love for all sides of the industry and value the professional experience I have gained from learning skills in journalism, public relations, marketing and digital advertising.
